Design Archives’ “Design is thinking” web-exhibition introduces the works of five awarded Finnish graphic designers. Pekka Loiri, Esa Ojala, Kari Piippo, Pentti Pilve and Erkki Ruuhinen have selected what they think are their best works for the exhibition and they tell about the brainstorming and creation work behind them. These background stories make the artists’ works open up to the audience in a completely new way.
The photographs on the first page of the exhibition take you to the personal profiles. The top of the introduction page includes links that will take you to the production of each graphic designer. The images can be enlarged by clicking on the pictures, and the pop up texts reveal about the background of the works as told by the graphic designer. The logo of the web exhibition takes you back to the front page.
Thank you to every graphic designer for your contributions to the exhibition!
